Abstract:Objective To compare and analyze the application effect of formative evaluation in the cultivation of clinical ability of postgraduates with master′s degrees in clinical medicine,in order to provide a basis for the establishment of the clinical ability training model and evaluation system.Methods This study adopted a questionnaire survey.All postgraduates with master′s degrees in clinical medicine who were in rotation in the Department of Emergency Intensive Care Medicine in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University from January 2020 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects.Based on the formative evaluation system and clinical ability content,a questionnaire was made to analyze the application effect of formative evaluation in the process of clinical ability training.Results Formative assessment could improve the clinical ability of graduate students in all aspects,and there was no statistically significant differences according to the grade of admission (P>0.05).Mini-clinical evaluation exercise (Mini-CEX),direct observation of procedural skills (DOPS) and subjective-objective-assessment-plan (SOAP) could improve the diagnosis and treatment ability,clinical operation skills and clinical thinking of graduate students,and there were no statistically significant differences according to the grade of admission (P>0.05).The teaching quality of clinical graduate students was generally superior.Conclusion Formative evaluation to the cultivation of clinical abilities of postgraduates with master′s degrees in clinical medicine and achieved good results.Student satisfaction and recognition are high,teaching quality is good,and training tends to be homogeneous.
