Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of Azithromycin combined with Tiotropium Bromide Inhalation Powder Spray in the treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in stable phase. Methods Sixty patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in stable phase received treatment from the department of respiratory medicine in our hospital from February 2016 to February 2019 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into regular group (n=30) and experimental group (n=30) by random number table method. The patients in the regular group were treated with Tiotropium Bromide Inhalation Powder Spray, and the patients in the experimental group were treated with low-dose Azithromycin combiued with Tiotropium Bromide Inhalation Powder Spray.Treatment in each group lasted one month.Oxygen partial pressure, carbon dioxide partial pressure, forced expiratory volume in one second,one-second rate, peak expiratory flow, forced expiratory volume, and the ratio of forced expiratory volume in first second and forced expiratory volume, and therapeutic effect were compared in the two groups. Results After treatment, the oxygen partial pressure level of the experimental group was higher than that of the regular group, and the carbon dioxide partial pressure level was lower than that of the regular group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).In the experimental group, the forced expiratory volume in one second,one-second rate, peak expiratory flow, forced expiratory volume, and the ratio of forced expiratory volume in first second and forced expiratory volume were all higher than those in the regular group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the regular group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of patients with with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in stable phase by using lowdose Azithromycin combined with Tiotropium Bromide Inhalation Powder Spray can improve the lung function and enhance the therapeutic effect.
