Abstract:Objective To investigate the application of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) phased array flexible coil and phased array cranial volume coil in diagnosing hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy in neonates. Methods A total of 36 perinatal neonates with history of asphyxia hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) admitted to Department of Imaging,the First People′s Hospital of Fuzhou City from April 2018 to April 2019 were selected as the research objects,and divided into group A (n=18) and group B (n=18) according to different examination methods.Group A was treated with MRI phased array flexible coil,and the group B was treated with MRI phased array cranial volume coil.The image quality evaluation indexes such as white matter noise ratio (SNR),gray matter SNR,gray-white matter SNR were compared,the rate of image clarity without artifact,and the diagnostic coincidence rate of the two groups of children.Results The white matter SNR,gray matter SNR and gray-white matter SNR of the children in group A were higher than those in group B,the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The rate of image clarity without artifact in group A was 94.44%,higher than 55.56% in group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The diagnostic coincidence rate in group A was 88.89%,higher than 55.56% in group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with MRI phased array cranial volume coil,the use of MRI phased array flexible coil is of higher image quality in the diagnosis of neonate HIE,which can improve the diagnosis rate and is worthy of clinical application.
