Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of Simo Decoction combined with massage at Tianshu acupoint in treating abdominal distension after lumbar fracture.Methods A total of 162 patients with lumbar fractures who underwent surgery in the Department of Orthopedics, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from July 2018 to December 2019 were selected.All patients were accompanied by abdominal distension after surgery.They were randomly divided into Simo Decoction group, massage Tianshu acupoint group and combined group, with 54 cases in each group.Simo Decoction group was given Simo Decoction oral liquid treatment.Massage Tianshu acupoint group was treated with Tianshu acupoint massage.The combined group was treated with Simo Decoction oral liquid combined with massage at Tianshu acupoint.The first exhaust time, the first defecation time, the total effective rate and treatment satisfaction score after 4 weeks of treatment, and the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment in the three groups were compared.Results After 4 weeks of treatment, the first exhaust time and the first defecation time in the combined group were shorter than those in the Simo Decoction group and Tianshu massage group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.017); the combined group always had 4 weeks of treatment the efficiency and satisfaction of treatment were higher than those of Simo Decoction group and Tianshu acupoint massage group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.017); the total incidence of adverse reactions among the three groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion The combination of Simo Decoction and Tianshu acupoint massage is effective in preventing postoperative abdominal distension of lumbar vertebral fractures, effectively improving the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment and patient satisfaction, and it is worthy of clinical application.
