Abstract：Objective To analyze the irrational prescription in Ophthalmic Outpatient and Emergency Department in the Third People′s Hospital of Chengdu City,so as to provide the basis for optimizing prescription pre-review rules.Methods The prescription review system was used to screen out a total of 1717 irrational prescriptions in Ophthalmic Outpatient and Emergency Department in the Third People′s Hospital of Chengdu City from April to November 2019,and the results were analyzed by Pareto diagram.Results The main factor causing irrational prescription was the unsuitable route of administration,and the secondary factor was off-label.The rules for prescription pre-review should be optimized for specific drugs.Conclusion According to the analysis of the factors causing irrational prescription,pharmaceutical intervention should be targeted to improve the rational utilization rate of prescription and ensure the security use of drugs for patients.
