Abstract：Nowadays,the situation,doctor-patient relationship is severe.So,it is high time to construct harmonious doctor-patient relationship.As the reserve army of future doctors,medical students can contribute to the construction of harmonious doctor-patient relationship through voluntary service.This paper introduces the present situation of medical students′ voluntary service,and analyzes the mechanism of medical students′ voluntary service to promote the construction of harmonious doctor-patient relationship from the two angles of “educating people” and “helping others”.Combined with a specific project,the article holds that medical students′ volunteer service should be optimized in China,and develop the new model of voluntary service for medical students in the four-in-one of “schoo-hospital-government-society”,promote the development of innovative trends such as “medicine+” and “Internet+voluntary service”,call for the establishment and improvement of voluntary service system and the strengthening of policy support for voluntary service in colleges and universities.
