Objective To investigate the effect of Enalapril Maleate and Irbesartan in the treatment of H-type hypertension on plasma homocysteine(Hcy)and blood pressure. Methods A total of 80 H-type hypertension patients who were admitted to the Fuzhou Workers Medical Insurance Outpatient Clinic from January 2018 to April 2019 were selected as subjects. They were divided into control group and observation group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. In the control group, Irbesartan alone was used, and in the observation group, Enalapril Maleate Tablets was adopted. The plasma Hcy and blood pressure levels of two groups before treatment and 1, 3 and 6 months after treatment were compared, and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was observed. Results The plasma Hcy levels of two groups after 1, 3 and 6 months of treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the plasma Hcy levels of observation group after 1, 3 and 6 months of treatment were lower than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The levels of systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP) of two groups after 1, 3 and 6 months of treatment were lower than those before treatment, and the levels of SBP and DBP in observation group after 1, 3 and 6 months of treatment were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).During the treatment, no adverse reactions occurred in the two groups. Conclusion Compared with Irbesartan, Enalapril Maleate in the treatment of H-type hypertension can reduce the plasma Hcy and blood pressure levels of patients, which is conducive to the recovery of patients, and is worthy of clinical application.
