Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of Ornidazole Mixture in adjunctive filling treatment of endodontic disease.MethodsFrom June 2013 to May 2015,92 patients with endodontic diseases treated in our hospital were enrolled as the research objects, and the patients were evenly divided into control group and observation group in random,46 cases in each group. In the control group, regular adjunctive filling for treatment was used, while in the observation group,Ornidazole Mixture for temporary storage and permanent root canal filling was provided. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared in the two groups.ResultsAfter temporary storage in the two groups, the overall clinical effective rate in the observation group was 91.30%,much higher than that in the control group accounting for 69.57%.By permanent filling, the total effective rate in the observation group (86.97%)was higher than that in the control group (58.70%).Adverse reactions include toothache, swelling gum, occlusion discomfort, bad breath, and gastric discomfort, etc. The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 21.74%,which was significantly lower than that in the control group accounting for 43.48%,the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05).ConclusionOrnidazole Mixture in adjunctive filling treatment of endodontic disease can remarkably improve clinical effect, reduce the incidence of adverse reactions and present with high safety.
