Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical effect of anterior transection in the treatment of Gartland type Ⅲ supracondylar fracture of humerus. Methods 54 children with Gartland Ⅲ type supracondylar fractures were selected from March 2014 to March 2017 in our hospital. The patients were divided into control group and treatment group according to the random number table method, each group was 27 cases. The patients in the control group were treated with open reduction and Kirschner wire fixation. The treatment group was treated with anterior and lateral condylar Kirschner wire fixation. The difference was statistically significant between the two groups. Results The excellent rate of elbow function in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The transverse incision approach of the elbow can significantly improve the function of the Gartland Ⅲ type supracondylar fracture of the humerus and improve the therapeutic effect, and the incidence of complications is low, which is worthy of clinical preference and popularization and application.
