Clinical effect of Edaravone combined with Yinxing Damo in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with acute cerebral infarction

Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical effect of Edaravone combined with Yinxing Damo in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with acute cerebral infarction.Methods Eighty patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with acute cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital from November 2016 to November 2018 were selected as the research objects, they were randomly divided into control group and experimental group, 40 cases in each group.The control group was treated Yinxing Damo combined with Ozagrel, while the experimental group was treated with Edaravone combined with Yinxing Damo.The therapeutic effect, quality of life score, Chinese stroke scale (CSS)and national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS) were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05).The quality of life score of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group, while CSS and NIHSS scores were lower than those of the control group, the differences were significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Edaravone combined with Yinxing Damo in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with acute cerebral infarction can significantly improve the treatment effect and quality of life of patients, alleviate the patients′condition and neurological deficits, which is worthy of clinical application.
