Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of standardized treatment combined with individual nutrition intervention on pregnancy outcome of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) patients. Methods The clinical data of 86 patients with GDM treated in our hospital from February 2017 to February 2018 were retrospectively analyzed, 7 cases failed in follow-up.They were divided into observation group (n=37) and control group (n=42) according to different intervention method. The control group was treated with standardized treatment, the observation group was treated with standardized treatment combined with individual nutrition intervention. The pregnancy outcomes and gestation period as well as postpartum complications and neonatal complications of the two groups were compared. Results The incidence of premature delivery, premature rupture of membranes and cesarean section in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); the incidence of complications such as pregnancy induced hypertension, polyhydramnios, pregnancy infection, postpartum hemorrhage and puerperal infection in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05); the incidence of macrosomia, neonatal asphyxia, neonatal hypoglycemia and neonatal hyperbilirubinemia in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The standardized treatment combined with individual nutrition intervention demonstrates significant effect in intervention of GDM, which can effectively reduce pregnancy complications and adverse pregnancy outcomes, improve the quality of newborns.
