Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of diabetes health education on treatment compliance and blood glucose with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).Methods The clinical data of 80 patients with T2DM admitted to our hospital from February 2018 to June 2019 were analyzed retrospectively and divided into observation group (n=40) and control group (n=40) with different nursing methods. The control group was received routine nursing, the observation group was received diabetes health education. Then the treatment compliance in the two groups during the intervention, the control of blood glucose index and the complications occurred in the two groups during the intervention were compared. Results The total treatmentcompliance of the observation group during the treatment was 97.5%, which was higher than 77.5% that of the control group for 77.5%, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The fasting blood glucose and 2-hour postprandial blood glucose of the observation group after the intervention were lower than those of the control group (P<0.05), and the pasting lisulin (FINS) level was higher than that of the control group, the incidence of hyperglycemia, hypoglycemia, ketoacidosis and hyperosmolar coma in the observation group were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with T2DM, the implementation of diabetes health education intervention can better improve treatment compliance, maintain blood sugar stability and reduce the incidence of complications.
