Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of anxiety regulation training on negative emotions in patients with postschizophrenia depression. Methods A randomized, open-label, prospective study was conducted in 60 patients with post-schizophrenia depression who were admitted to the Third People′s Hospital of Meizhou City from April 2014 to June 2017. According to the selection criteria for schizophrenia in the international classification of diseases (ICD-10),they were divided into the study group and the control group according to random number table method, 30 cases in each group. Regular treatment was adopted in two groups, while the control group was given routine nursing care, the study group was applied anxiety regulation training on the basis of routine nursing, and the negative emotions of the two groups before training and after 6 weeks of training were analyzed and compared using the self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and the self-rating depression scale (SDS) were used to evaluate their anxiety and depression. Results Before the training, there were no significant differences in the scores of SAS and SDS between the two groups (P>0.05). After 6 weeks of training, the SAS and SDS scores of the study group were significantly lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Anxiety regulation training can effectively improve the negative emotions of patients with post-schizophrenia depression and provide a more effective method for rehabilitation nursing of patients with post-schizophrenia depression.
