Abstract:ObjectiveTo study the therapeutic effect of T3 thoracic sympathectomy under single operation port thoracoscope in the treatment of palmar hyperhidrosis.MethodsFrom December 2014 to December 2016,60 patients with palmar hyperhidrosis treated in our hospital were selected as the subjects of this study.According to the random number table method, all patients were divided into the single operation port group and the double operation port group,30 cases in each group.General anesthesia of Dexmedetomidine by double-lumen endotracheal intubation was provided in the two groups. The T3thoracic sympathectomy under thoracoscope was performed in both groups. The therapeutic effects which were estimated from aspects of remission of hand sweating, occurrence of profuse sweating, size of incision, operation time, bleeding, postoperative pain, hospital stay, and incidence of adverse reactions after surgery were evaluated and judged between the two groups.ResultsAll recruited patients were improved after the operation. The size of incision, operation time, bleeding, pain, hospital stay, and occurrence of adverse reactions in the single operation port group were superior to those in the double operation port group, with significant differences(P<0.05).The incidence of active bleeding in the single operation port group was lower than that in the double operation port group, with significant difference(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in remission of hand sweating and profuse sweat between the two groups (P>0.05).ConclusionFor patients with palmar hyperhidrosis, application of T3thoracic sympathectomy under single operation port thoracoscope obtains a remarkable effect. It not only reduce hospital stay, but also lowers down the cost of hospitalization in a small incision and high safety, which is worthy to be applied in clinical practice in future.
