Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of preburial double-barrelled negative pressure drainage tube after radical mastectomy for the prevention of postoperative skin flap necrosis and effusion. Methods A total of 96 patients who underwent radical mastectomy in our hospital from February 2016 to October 2017 were selected as the research subjects.According to the time of admission, they were divided into the observation group and the control group,48 cases in each group. The patients in the observation group were treated with axillary and parastnal double tube drainage, while the control group was treated with conventional axillary single tube drainage. The postoperative subcutaneous fluid, flap necrosis and incision infection, the time of extubation and hospital stay were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of flap necrosis, fluid accumulation and incision infection after intubation in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The extubation time and length of stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, with significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of preburial double-barrelled negative pressure drainage tube in the prevention of postoperative skin flap necrosis is significant, and it is one of the key factors for postoperative prognosis. It is worth popularizing in clinical application.
