Abstract:Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of miR-155 in renal cell carcinoma.Methods Real-time quantitative analysis(RT-PCR)was used to detect the expression of miR-155 in 21 renal cell carcinoma tissues and matched normal renal tissues.The relationship between its expression and clinicopathological parameters of renal cell carcinoma was analyzed.Results The expression of miR-155 in renal cell carcinoma was(12.63±6.22),which was significantly higher than that in adjacent normal renal tissues,(2.71±1.38)(P<0.01).The expression of miR-155 in renal cell carcinoma was not related with the clinical stage,degree of differentiation,gender,age,or tumor diameter(P>0.05).Conclusion The expression of miR-155 in cancer tissues in patients with renal cell carcinoma is significantly higher than that in adjacent normal tissues,but without correlation of the pathological grade or clinical differentiation of renal cell carcinoma.
