Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of Dust Mite Drops combined with Desloratadine Citrate Disodium in the treatment of chronic urticaria induced by dust mite allergy. Methods Altogether120 patients with chronic urticaria who were treated in the outpatient of our hospital from January 2015 to June 2016 were selected as objects. They were divided into the experimental group (60 cases)and the control group (60 cases)according to the random number table method. The experimental group was sublingually administered with Dust Mite Drops for 1 year, and they were orally given Desloratadine Citrate Disodium Tablets of 8.8 mg at the same time, once a day,for 4 weeks. After 4 weeks, the doses were reduced or stopped according to the control of urticaria symptoms. The control group was only orally given 8.8 mg of Desloratadine Citrate Disodium Tablets, whose method and course of treatment were the same as the experimental group.Follow-up visits were conducted 4 weeks,3,6,9 months, and 1 year after treatment. The total effective rate, overall satisfaction, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between two groups. Results The total effective rate in the experimental group after 3,6,9 months and 1 year of treatment was higher than that after 4 weeks of treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the control group after 3 months and 6 months of treatment was not significantly different from that after 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).The total effective rate after 9 months and 1 year of treatment in the control group were higher than those after 4 weeks of treatment, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the total effective rate between two groups after 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).The total effective rate after 3,6,9 months and 1 year of treatment in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At the end of the one-year observation period, the overall satisfaction in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The adverse reactions in both groups were relatively mild and did not affect continuing treatment. Conclusion Sublingual administration of Dust Mite Drops combined with Desloratadine Citrate Disodium in the treatment of dust mite-positive chronic urticaria is effective, convenient and safe.
