Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical value of general anesthesia with laryngeal mask airway preserving spontaneous breathing for thoracoscopic bullae resection. Methods A total of 62 patients with thoracoscopic bullae resection in our hospital from October 2016 to October 2017 were selected, all patients were treated with the same induction and maintenance of total intravenous anesthesia. The patients were divided into the two groups using the random number table method.31 patients in the control group were treated with muscle relaxant and inserted into double lumen bronchial catheter,31 patients in the observation group were inserted into laryngeal mask having no muscle relaxant to retain spontaneous respiration. The monitoring indexes(heart rate, mean arterial pressure, arterial oxygen saturation, arterial carbon dioxide saturation)were recorded at different time points(at laryngeal mask implanted, the laryngeal mask implanted for 30 min and 60 min)were recorded in patients of the two groups. The recovery(recovery time, postoperative hospital stay),hospitalization expenses, adverse reactions(shock, hoarseness, pharyngeal discomfort, dysphagia, upper respiratory tract obstruction)were compared between the two groups. Results The arterial oxygen saturation of the observation group was higher than that of the control group when the laryngeal mask was implanted for 30 min and 60 min respectively, carbon dioxide saturation of arterial blood in the observation group was lower than that in the control group when the laryngeal mask was implanted for 30 min and 60 min respectively (P<0.05).The recovery time and postoperative hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group (P<0.05),and the hospitalization expenses of the observation group were less than those of the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionGeneral anesthesia with laryngeal mask retaining spontaneous respiration is suitable for thoracoscopic pulmonary bullae resection. It can improve the oxygen saturation of patients and improve the safety of operation.
