Effect comparison of mini-stimulation protocol and plan of ovulation induction at luteal phase in vitro fertilization embryo transfer cycle in patients with poor ovarian reserve

Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of mini-stimulation protocol and plan of ovulation induction at luteal phase in vitro fertilization embryo transfer cycle in patients with poor ovarian reserve.Methods From January 2015 to December 2017,98 patients with poor ovarian reserve were selected and divided into experimental group(n=52)and control group (n=46)according to the randomized control method.In the control group,min-stimulation protocol was used in vitro fertilized embryo transfer cycle,while in the experimental group,the ovulation induction plan at luteal phase in vitro fertilized embryo transfer cycle.The differences in clinical pregnancy rate and early miscarriage rate between the two groups were compared.Results In the experimental group,the use time and dosage of Gn,and E2level,number of ova retrieved,and number of embryos available at the injection day of human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG)were all higher than those in the control group.The level of luteinizing hormone(LH)at the HCG injection day was lower in the experimental group than that in the control group with statistical significance (P<0.05).In the experimental group,the clinical pregnancy rate was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).There was no early miscarriage rate or cycle cancellation rate (P>0.05).Conclusion The utility of ovulation induction plan at luteal phase in patients with poor ovarian reserve during in vitro fertilized embryo transfer cycle can increase the pregnancy rate of these patients and provide a new option for superovulation of patients with poor ovarian reserve.
