Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of liquid dressing(seborrhea)on preventing skin pressure injury in patients undergoing lateral position surgery. Methods From January 2014 to June 2017,100 patients with lateral position surgery in our hospital were selected and divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group was given routine stress injury prevention nursing and did not take any other measures. On the basis of routine nursing, the experimental group was sprayed with liquid dressing on the skin under pressure before operation and gently massaged with fingertips clockwise for 1 min. After the operation, the total incidence of skin pressure injury in the two groups was observed when swinging back to the supine position. Results The total incidence of skin pressure injury in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Liquid dressing can effectively reduce skin pressure injury and its total incidence in patients undergoing lateral position surgery. It is worthy of popularization.
