Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of fast track surgery(FTS)combining with special traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)nursing for lung cancer patients in perioperative period. Methods Eighty-eight patients with lung cancer who underwent video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in our hospital from May 2017 to January 2018 were selected as the research objects. The patients were divided into control group and observation group by random number table method, with 44 cases in each group. The control group was given fast surgical rehabilitation nursing, while the observation group was given fast surgical rehabilitation nursing combined with special traditional Chinese medicine nursing. The postoperative recovery and complications of the two groups were compared.Meanwhile, the pain degree of the two groups was compared by visual analogue scale(VAS).Result The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative extubation time, exhaust time, bed time, hospitalization time and antibiotics application time in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, the VAS score in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Application of FTS nursing combining with special TCM nursing for lung cancer patients in perioperative period can reduce postoperative complication occurrence rate and shorten hospital stays, thus it is worthwhile to popularize such combining nursing among lung cancer patients.
