Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical application value of yoga exercise in pregnant women, and to provide guidance for clinical practice. Methods From January to June in 2016,100 pregnant women were selected as target objects in this experiment in our hospital.By a random number table method, these participants were evenly divided into the control group and the experimental group,50 cases in each group. In the control group, routine prenatal care was used from week 16 of gestation to delivery, while in the experimental group,on the basis of the routine prenatal care, yoga exercise was added during the same time. The body mass index(BMI),stages of labor, deliverymode, and maternal and child outcomes in the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results There was no significant difference in the BMI or the third stage of labor between the two groups before intervention(P>0.05).Before delivery, theBMI,time of the first and second stages of labor, and time of total stage of labor were displayed statistical differences between the two groups(P<0.05).The vaginal delivery rate was 84.00%in the experimental group, higher than that in the control group accounting for 46.00%,with a statistical difference(P<0.05).In the experimental group, incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus, gestational hypertension, neonatalasphyxia, and fetal distress was 2.00%,6.00%,2.00%,and 6.00%,much lower than those in the control group,18.00%,26.00%,20.00%,and 24.00%accordingly,which were displayed statistical differences(P<0.05).There was no great difference in the incidence of premature rupture of fetal membranes,6.00%and 12.00%in the experimental group and control group respectively(P>0.05).Conclusion Yoga exercise for pregnant women can effectively control the weight, shorten the labor, increase vaginal delivery rate, anddecrease the incidence of gestational diabetes mellitus, gestational hypertension, and fetal distress, which is helpful to ensure the safety of newborns.
