Clinical effect of medroxyProgesterone acetate combined with antibiotics treating endometritis

Abstract：Objective To exp1ore the c1inica1 effect of medroxyprogesterone acetate combined with antibiotics treating endometritis.Methods 80 patients with endometritis received by our hospita1 from June 2013 to December 2014 were random1y divided into contro1 group（n＝40）and observation group（n＝40）.Patients in observation group were treated by medroxyprogesterone acetate combined with antibiotics.Patients in contro1 group were treated by.C1inica1 effect,menstrua1 condition and the change of cytokine 1eve1 before and after treatment between two groups was compared respective1y.Results The tota1 effective rate[92.5％（37/40）]in observation group was obvious1y higher than that[70.0％（28/40）]of contro1 group,and the difference was statistica1 significance（P＜0.05）.Irregu1ar vagina1 b1eeding rate in observation group （7.5％）was obvious1y 1ower than that（37.5％）in contro1 group;whi1e the menstrua1 recover to norma1 rate（92.5％）was obvious1y higher than that（62.5％）in contro1 group,and the difference was statistica1 significance（P＜0.05）.After treatment,the 1eve1 of IL-4 and MMP-9 in observation group was obvious1y 1ower than that of contro1 group,whi1e IL-10 was higher than that of contro1 group,the difference was statistica1 significance（P＜0.05）.Conclusion Compared with using antibiotics simp1y,medroxyprogesterone acetate combined with antibiotics is more he1pfu1 to improve the therapy effect for endometritis,improve menstrua1 condition and a11eviate inf1ammatory reaction.It is worth to popu1arize in c1inic.
