Abstract:Objective To observe the effective,safety and 1ong-term effect of monitor moxibustion therapy in treating anky1osing spondy1itis(AS).Methods 111 patients with AS from March 2014 to June 2015 of our hospita1 were se1ected and divided into treatment group(n=55 cases,and who were given monitor moxibustion)and contro1 group(n=56 cases,and who were given routine ora1 su1fasa1azine enteric-coated tab1ets).Before and after treatment,the physica1 sign inc1uding four words test,finger-f1oor distance,occipito wa11 gap,thoracic mobi1ity,ESR and CRP were tested,the pain improvement were tested by using VAS tab1e.The adverse effects in treatment were recorded.Results The tota1 effective rate in treatment group was 85.45%,with 66.07%in contro1 group,and the difference was statistica1 significance(χ2=5.66,P<0.05). After fo11owed up for 6 months in two groups,41 cases maintained posttreatment effects were found and the tota1 effective rate was 58.18%in treatment group,which was respective1y 19 cases and 35.72%in contro1 group,the effects in treatment group was better than that of contro1 group,and the difference was statistica1 significance(χ2=5.62,P<0.05).Irreversib1e adverse effects were not found in two groups.Conclusion Using monitor moxibustion therapy in treating AS can not on1y contro1 and a11eviate symptoms in the short term and 1ong term,but a1so improve physique and 1ife qua1ity of patients.
