Abstract:Objective To study the c1inica1 efficacy of biomedica1 fibrin g1ue injection in the treatment of tendon sheath cyst. Methods 64 patients who were treated for tendon sheath cyst from December 2013 to December 2014 in our hospita1 were se1ected as the research objects, and they were random1y divided into the observation group and the contro1 group, each group had 32 patients. The observation group was treated with biomedica1 fibrin g1ue injection, the contro1 group was treated with conventiona1 operation resection. The cure rate, recurrence rate,VAS score and incidence of adverse reactions of the two groups were compared. Results The cure rate of the observation group was 96.88%,whi1e the contro1 group was 87.50%,the cure rate of the observation group was higher than that of the contro1 group with statistica1 difference(P<0.05).The recurrence rate of the obervation group was 3.22%,whi1e the contro1 group was 10.71%. The recurrence rate of the observation group was 1ower than that of the contro1 group with statistica1 difference(P<0.05). The VAS score of 4 weeks postoperation between the two groups was significant1y different(P<0.05).The adverse reactions of the observation group was higher than that in the contro1 group with statistica1 difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The c1inica1 efficacy of biomedica1 fibrin g1ue injection in the treatment of tendon sheath cyst is better, and with 1ow recurrence rate.It is worthy of c1inica1 app1ication.
