Abstract:Objective To study the psychological and physiological effects of psychological intervention on breast cancer patients who were waiting for biopsy.Methods Altogether 100 breast cancer patients who underwent pre-surgery breast biopsy in the hospital from January 2013 to December 2015,were randomly selected as the object of research and divided into control group and observation group according to the coin toss method,with 50 cases in each group.Patients in control group were given routine nursing during their waiting for biopsy,and observation group was treated with routine nursing and psychological intervention during their waiting for biopsy.The SAS scores,heart rate and blood pressure were compared between the two groups.Results The SAS score of observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05).The contraction pressure,diastolic blood pressure and heart rate of observation group were not significantly increased (P>0.05),30 min after their waiting for biopsy,while the obvious increasing was seen in control group 30 min after their waiting for biopsy (P<0.05).Conclusion The appropriate psychological intervention measures should be taken in patients with breast cancersduring their waiting for biopsy to effectively alleviate the anxiety of patients and regulate the patient′s physiological reaction.
