Abstract：Objective To explore the effect ofmodified Angong Niuhuang Pill in the treatment of severe craniocerebral injury.M ethods From May 2015 to May 2016，100 patients with severe craniocerebral injuries were collected in our hospital and evenly divided into two groups in random.In observation group，modified Angong Niuhuang Pill was used，while in control group，regular therapy was provided.The clinical therapeutic effect and change of the concentration of magnesium ion in peripheral blood were compared in both groups.Results The effectiveness rate after therapy in the observation group was 90.00%，the ineffectiveness rate after therapy in the observation group was 10.00%，while the rate in the control group was 80.00%，the ineffectiveness rate after therapy in the observation group was 20.00%，with a statistical difference（P＜0.05）.The concentration ofmagnesium ion in peripheral blood in the observation group wasmuch higher than that in the control group 3，7，14 days after treatment（P＜0.05）.Conclusion Modification of Angong Niuhuang Pill can obtain a great effect on treating severe craniocerebral injury.It can remarkably improve patient′s prognosis in a higher clinical application value.
