Abstract：Objective This study introduced the process of misdiagnosis and share relevant experiencing in diagnosis and treatment from a case ofmetastatic squamous cell carcinoma originated from liver.M ethods This casewas diagnosed after the retrospective analysis of clinicalmedical records，preoperative tumor antigen examination，imaging examination，and postoperative pathological diagnosis result.Resu lts By analyzing，this study found that the correlations between the metastatic squamous cell carcinoma to the liver and squamous cell carcinoma antigen（SCCAg）.In addition，the focis characters of liver metastatic carcinoma from CT enhanced scan has its own regularity.Conclusion Due to the reason thatmetastatic squamous cell carcinoma originated from liver is rare in clinic，so we should pay more attention to this disease.Preoperative SCCAg，magnetic resonance imaging（MRI）scan，CT enhanced scan，gastroscopy，colonoscopy and multidisciplinary consultation are needed to diagnose the primary lesion and to reducemisdiagnosis.
