Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of labor analgesia observed epidural anesthesia and analgesia on mother and child labor.Methods150 primiparae from April to June 2015 were selected in our hospital and had no contraindication of obsterics and anesthesia department,they would be given labor analgesia as the observation group,150 primiparaewere chosed in the same period and had no contraindication of obsterics and anesthesia department,but they would not be given labor analgesia as a control group.The rate of cesarean section,postpartum hemorrhage,the time of labor and neonatal Apgar score were compared between two groups.ResultsThe labor time and cesarean section rate of the observation group were significantly lower than those of control group,there were significant differences(P<0.05),and postpartum hemorrhage,comparing of two groupswere compared,the difference were not significant(P>0.05).ConclusionEpidural anesthesia for labor analgesia,can effectively promoted the progress of labor,ease puerpera childbirth pain,reduce the neonatal asphyxia and cesarean section rate,and has no effectonmaternal and child safety.
