Abstract：Objective To investigate the clinical practical value of reamed intramedullary interlocking nail for the treatment ofnonunion of the tibial fracture.Methods 22 Patients of nonunion of tibial fracture were selected from July 2012 to October 2015 in our hospital,all patients were treated with reamed interlocking intramedullary nail.They were followed up regularly after surgery,Joher-Wruhs scale were used to assess the function of knee and ankle joint and the effect of treatment.Results All patients were followed up regularly.The mean time of interview was 17.6 months(from 10 to 25 months).22 patients of nonunion of tibial fracture were healed,no infection,deformity and secondary fracture happened.The recovery of illness limb was better,6 months after operation,the results of the Joher-Wruhs scores were 14 cases in excellent,6 cases in good and 2 cases in general,and the excellent rate was 90.9%.ConclusionⅠt has microwound，Fixed stably,less complications that reamed interlocking intramedullary nail for treatment of nonunion of tibial shaft fractures.The probability of nonunion and delayed union decreased,patients can carry out rehabilitation exercises earlier.
