Abstract：ObjectiveTo investigate the role of increased red blood cells(RBC)in the diagnosis of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)complicated with obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome(OSAHS).MethodsBy a perspective view, 40 patients with T2DM diagnosed in our hospital from January to December 2015 were randomly selected.20 patients with RBC increased were classified into experimental group,and the rest of 20 patients with normal RBC was categorized into control group.Incidence rate of OSAHS,physiological index and severity of OSAHS in T2DM patients were evaluated.ResultsIncidence rate of OSAHS in the experimental group was 90%,higher than 30%in the control group (P＜0.05).There was significant difference in the physiological indexes of OSAHS between two groups(χ2=15.00,P＜0.01).ConclusionRBC examination in T2DM patients is beneficial to early detection and treatment of OSAHS,can control patients′condition as early as possible and reduce incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
