Abstract：ObjectiveTo study the ultrasonographic and clinical features of temporary small intussusception in children.MethodsRetrospective analysis of 440 children of abdominal discomfort in our hospital from January 2015 to November 2016 was performed.By ultrasonography,88 children patients were diagnosed as temporary small intussusception.The clinical manifestations,characteristics of ultrasonography and therapeutic methods were analyzed and summarized.ResultsWith regard to correlation of the length and diameter of intussusception and the age,the older the children patient was,the larger the length and diameter of intussusception were.ConclusionTemporary small intussusception in children is caused by transient intussusception of the small intestine,which is commonly seen in children with intussusception. Characterized by spontaneous reduction,non-special treatment,and non-surgery,repetitive ultrasonography for these children patients is necessary in clinic.Conservative therapeutic regimen is adopted after a comprehensive understanding of the small intussusception.
