Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the preventive efficacy of comprehensive nursing intervention on pediatric dental caries.MethodsFrom January to December in 2015,184 children from 3 kindergartens covered by our hospital were selected.By drawing lottery,they were evenly divided into the observation group and the control group.In the control group,regular health education was performed,while in the observation group,comprehensive nursing intervention was adopted.They were followed up for 1 year.The preventive effect on pediatric dental caries in two groups was compared.ResultsThe occurrence of dental caries in the observation group in each stages(the 1,4,8,12thmonth)were lower than those in the control group,the nursing satisfaction and awareness rate of knowledge on prevention of dental caries of children′s parents and children′s degree of adaptability were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionImplementation of comprehensive nursing intervention on pediatric dental caries increases children′s compatibility,intensifies knowledge on dental prevention in children and their parents,and improve the preventive effect of pediatric dental caries,which is worthy of promotion.
