Abstract：Objective To investigate the application effect of fast track surgery (FTS) strategy in perioperative nursing of laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (LRP) for prostate cancer. Methods A total of 49 LRP patients who were admitted to Deyang People′s Hospital, Sichuan Province from January 2014 to December 2019 were selected as the study subjects,and they were divided into the control group(24 cases)and the study group(25 cases)by the random number table method.The control group was treated with routine nursing, while the study group was treated with FTS nursing. The postoperative pain scores, perioperative recovery indexes and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups,and the patients′nursing satisfaction was counted. Results The pain score of patients in the study group was lower than that in the control group at 3 and 7 d after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). The first time to eat, time to get out of bed and duration of hospital stay in the study group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of postoperative complications between the two groups (P＞0.05). The nursing total satisfaction of the study group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05). Conclusion The application of FTS to the perioperative nursing of LRP can relieve postoperative pain, ensure patients′ safety, shorten the recovery time of patients, promote the fast recovery of patients, and improve the nursing satisfaction of patients.
