Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Xuebijing Injection on intestinal function and inflammatory factors in critically ill patients. Methods From January 2018 to January 2019, 100 critically ill patients treated in our hospital were selected as subjects for the study. They were divided into control group (n=50) and research group (n=50) by the random number table method. Patients in the control group were treated with routine therapy, while patients in the study group were treated with Xuebijing Injection. Both groups were treated for 7 d, plasma levels of diamine oxidase(DAO), endotoxin (LPS), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) were compared before and after treatment between the two groups. The oxygenation index (OI), acute physiological and chronic health score (APACHE Ⅱ)were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment for 7 days, the DAO and LPS levels in both groups were lower than those before treatment, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After treatment for 7 days, the DAO and LPS levels in the research group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment for 7 days, the TNF-α, IL-6 levels in both groups were lower than those before treatment, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After treatment for 7 days, the levels of TNF-α and IL-6 in the research group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment for 7 days, the OI values of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the APACHE Ⅱscores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).After treatment for 7 days, the OI value of the research group was higher than that of the control group, and the score of APACHE Ⅱwas lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The feeding time of the research group was shorter than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Xuebijing Injection can effectively reduce the level of DAO, LPS, improve the intestinal function of critically ill patients, and effectively reduce the level of inflammatory factors and the severity of the disease, which is worthy of extensive clinical use.
