Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of modified forceps surgery combined with unprotected perineal midwifery. Methods A total of 52 puerperas undergoing vaginal midwifery admitted to Jingdezhen Second People′s Hospital were enrolled as the research objects from April 2019 to April 2021. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control groupand observation group , with 26 cases in each group. The control group used conventional forceps midwifery, and the observation group used modified forceps surgery combined with unprotected perineal midwifery. The comprehensive conditions during delivery (the second stage of labor, intrapartum blood loss, postpartum blood loss), hospitalization time and hospital expenses, maternal and neonatal complications occurrence within 1 week after surgery between the two groups were compared. Results The second schedule of the two groups were compared, the difference was not significant (P>0.05). The postpartum bleeding, postpartum bleeding, and hospital expenses of the observation group were less than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). The hospitalization time of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The total incidence of postpartum and occurrence of puerperas in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The occurrence of neonatal were compared between the two groups, the difference was not significant (P>0.05). Conclusion The modified forceps surgery combined with unprotected perineal midwifery can effectively protect perineum and relieve delivery pain in puerperae. It does not increase the occurrence risk of maternal and neonatal complications, and significantly shortens hospitalization time and reduce hospitalization cost.
