Abstract: Traditional cerebral palsy rehabilitation treatment for children mainly includes Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy,Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, Neurodevelopment Promotion Technology, Compulsory Induced Exercise Therapy,Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation, etc. The comprehensive application of these rehabilitation methods can greatly improve the motor and cognitive impairments of children with cerebral palsy, and improve their basic social adaptability and self-care ability in daily life. However, these rehabilitation methods have limited impact on the children's space and cognitive abilities, and the children are not proactive in cooperation. In recent years, as a new rehabilitation treatment technology, virtual reality technology is widely used in various kinds of disease rehabilitation, and the application of virtual reality technology in the field of rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy is also increasing. This paper briefly discusses the current situation of virtual reality technology, the application of virtual reality technology in the sports rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy, and puts forward the limitations of the existing research, aiming to better help the clinical workers and researchers in the field of cerebral palsy rehabilitation to understand the current situation and prospects of virtual reality technology application, so as to better carry out the rehabilitation care of children with cerebral paralysis.
