Abstract:Objective To explore the value of static and dynamic magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)in female patients with chronic pelvic pain syndrome(CPPS).Methods A total of 30 patients with CPPS admitted to Bao′an District Central Hospital of Shenzhen from January 2019 to May 2020 were selected as the study group, meanwhile 30 patients with normal pelvic floor function at the same period were chosen as the control group. Both groups were examined by static and dynamic MRI of pelvic floor function, and the imaging characteristics were compared between the two groups. Results The anteroposterior diameter of the levator ani hiatus in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, the area of the levator ani hiatus in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, the anal lift muscle thickness in the study group was thicker than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There were no significant difference in the area of pubococcygeus, iliococcygeus, pubis straighmuscle, and the length of H-line,M-line between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The imaging features of pelvic floor static and dynamic MRI in the onset of CPPS were spasmodic changes of levator ani muscle, which has guiding significance.
