Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of vascular ultrasound examination in the diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease.Methods A total of 71 patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease who were admitted to Shenyang Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2017 to March 2019 were selected as the research objects.All of the patients underwent vascular ultrasound examination.Cerebrovascular angiography results were used as the gold standard.The application value of vascular ultrasound examination in the diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease was analyzed.Results According to cerebral angiography results,15 patients were diagnosed with mild carotid stenosis,45 patients with moderate carotid stenosis,8 patients with severe carotid stenosis and 3 patients with complete occlusion among the 71 patients.The accuracy of vascular ultrasound examination in the diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease was 88.73% (63/71).The consistency of diagnosis results of vascular ultrasound examination and cerebrovascular angiography in the diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease was good based on the Kappa consistency check (Kappa=0.798,P=0.000).The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve showed that the area under curve (AUC) of vascular ultrasound examination in the diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease was 0.956,indicating good diagnostic value.The sensitivity and specificity were 0.933 and 0.046.Conclusion The application value of vascular ultrasound examination in the diagnosis of carotid artery stenosis in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease is significant,and has good consistency with the diagnosis result of cerebral angiography.
