Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of self-made ureteral calculi occluder in percutaneous nephrolithotomy(PCNL).Methods Fifty-four patients with ureteral calculi who were treated with PCNL in the Third People′s Hospital of Pingxiang City from July 2017 to March 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into self-made group(27 cases)and conventional group(27 cases)by the random number table method.Routine PCNL treatment was performed in the conventional group, and PCNL treatment was performed under self-made ureteral calculi occluder in the self-made group.Surgery-related indicators and the occurrence of postoperative complications were compared in the two groups. Results The intraoperative blood loss and stone escape rate of the selfmade group were lower than those of the conventional group, the operation time and postoperative hospital stay were shorter than those of the conventional group, and the first-stage stone clearance rate was higher than that of the conventional group, the differences were statisticcally significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of postoperative complications(P>0.05).Conclusion The use of self-made ureteral calculi occluder during PCNL can reduce the stone escape rate, increase the rate of one-stage stone clearance, shorten the postoperative recovery without increasing the occurrence of complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
