Objective To explore the application effect of peer education in experience tools of diabetic complications.Methods A total of 60 newly diagnosed type 2 diabetic patients in Ganzhou People′s Hospital from May 2018 to May 2019 were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into the control group(n=30)and the observation group(n=30)by lottery method.In the control group,routine diabetes health education was used.In the observation group,diabetes health education with strengthened peer education was adopted.Patients′ blood glucose indicators before and after intervention,self-management behavior ability score and nursing service satisfaction after intervention between the two groups were compared.Results The levels of fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin of the two groups after intervention were lower than those before intervention,with statistical significances(P<0.05).The levels of fasting blood glucose,2 h postprandial blood glucose and glycosylated hemoglobin in the observation group after intervention were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).The self-management behavior score and nursing service satisfaction of the observation group were higher than those of the control group,with statistical significances(P<0.05).Conclusion Emphasis on the application of peer education in diabetic complication experience tool in diabetes management can improve the blood glucose control effect and self-management ability of diabetic patients,continuously improve the quality of service,and lay the foundation for the prevention of diabetic complication.
