Abstract:Objective To explore the mechanism of Shensu decoction in treating chronic bronchitis based on network pharmacology. Methods Screening the active ingredients and action targets of Shensu Decoction from the establishment of the Chinese Medicine Systematic Pharmacological Analysis Platform(TCMSP)until September 2020.Disease targets for chronic bronchitis were obtained from GeneCards database(up until September 2020).Cytoscape 3.7.0 software was used to draw the component-target network,Protein-protein interaction(PPI)analysis, gene ontology(GO)analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)analysis were performed on related targets using R language scripts. Results A total of 160 active components of Shensu Decoction, such as quercetin, kaempferrol and luteolin D ethyl ester, might act on 154 targets core through 175 pathways, such as tumor necrosis factor(TNF)pathway. Conclusion On the surface of network pharmacology, the active ingredients contained in Shensu Deccoction may have potential preventive and therapeutic effect on chronic bronchitis through anti-inflammatory effect.
