Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of humanist officers on hope level and treatment compliance of patients with rectal cancer with neoadjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Methods A total of 62 rectal cancer patients who were treated with neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as study subjects.The patients were divided into control group(n=31)and study group(n=31)according to random number table method.Conventional intervention method was used in the control group and conventional intervention+humane care method was used in the study group.Patients in both groups underwent intervention for 20 days.The level of hope,treatment adherence were compared between the two groups.Results Before the intervention,there was no significant difference in the hope level scores between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention,the hope level score of both groups was higher than that before the intervention,and the hope level score of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After the intervention,the adherence to treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the nursing of patients with neoadjuvant radiotherapy and chemotherapy for rectal cancer,To give humane care to patients,can help patients improve treatment compliance and hope level.
