Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of pericardial exfoliation on chronic constrictive pericarditis. Methods A total of 60 patients with chronic constrictive pericarditis admitted to Jiangxi Chest Hospital from January 2018 to June 2020 were selected as the research objects, and divided into the observation group and the control group according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conservative drugs, and the observation group was treated with pericardial exfoliation. The clinical efficacy and cardiac function indexes of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD)and left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD)in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, left ventricular fractional shortening(LVFS)in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment of chronic constrictive pericarditis by pericardial exfoliation can improve the clinical symptoms and promote the return of cardiac function to normal.
