Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of breast massage combined with ear acupoint pressing to promote lactation. Methods A total of 359 parturients admitted to Foshan Gaoming District People′s Hospital from January to August 2019 were selected as the research objects.According to the odd and eveen number of inclusion order they were divided into the observation group(180 cases)and the control group(179 cases). The observation group used breast massage and ear acupoint pressing to promote lactation. The control group adopted routine post-delivery nursing measures. The lactation initiation time,48 h lactation volume, lactation effect on the 4th day after delivery, and the incidence of breast swelling in the two groups were compared. The effects of the two nursing methods on the lactation effect of the mother were compared. Results The lactation initiation time after delivery of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The 24-hour lactation volume of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The breast swelling rate of the parturients in the observation group was lower than that of the control group on the 4th day after delivery, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The breast swelling degree of the parturients in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Early breast massage combined with ear acupoint pressing after childbirth can shorten the lactation time, increase lactation and improve the effect of lactation, and can effectively prevent the incidence of maternal breast swelling, which is worthy of promotion.
