Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical application effect of breast conserving surgery and radical surgery in early breast cancer. Methods A total of 100 patients with early breast cancer admitted to Dalian Central Hospital from January 2015 to May 2017 were selected as the research objects. They were divided into experimental group (50 cases)and control group (50 cases) by subsection randomization method. The control group was treated with radical mastectomy, while the experimental group was treated with breast conserving surgery.Clinical indicators, complications, disease recurrence, distant metastasis, and 3-year survival were compared between the two groups. Results The incision length, operation time and hospital stay of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the experimental group was 4.00%,lower than that in the control group (18.00%),and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).There were no significant differences in disease recurrence rate, distant metastasis rate and 3-year survival rate between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Both early breast cancer patients undergoing breast conserving surgery and radical surgery can obtain good results. The application of breast conserving surgery can reduce the degree of surgical trauma of patients and control the occurrence of complications, which is of great significance.
