Abstract:Objective To study the characteristic chromatogram of Juhong Granuls and provide a reliable method for scientific evaluation and effective control of quality. Methods High performance liquid chromatography (ultraviolet detection) was used to determine the components of Juhong Granuls, Sunfire C18 (250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm) was used as the chromatographic column. The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-water, with gradient elution at the flow rate of 0.5 ml/min, column temperature was 30℃. Detection wavelength was 283 nm. The sample solution was prepared by direct ultrasonic treatment with methanol. The main components of seven herbs in the prescription of tangerine granules were detected and the characteristic spectrum of tangerine granules was established. Results There were 11 common characteristic peaks of Juhong Granuls, and the characteristic chromatographic peaks were classified into seven medicinal herbs in the prescription, namely, Citrigrandis Exocarpium, Citripericarpium Reticulatae, Glycyrrhizae Radixet Rhizome, Plycyrrhizae Radix, Rehmanniae Radix, Trichosanthis Pericarpium Farfarae Flos, and the characteristic peak 5 was glycyrrhizin, peak 7(S) was the reference naringin and peak 9 was hesperidin. The precision, repeatability and stability test results showed, the RSD of the relative retention time of each common peak was less than 1.0%, and the RSD of the relative peak area was less than 4.0%. Conclusion The etablished characteristic chromatogram method of Juhong Granuls is simple, accurate, and can be used for the quality control and evaluation of Juhong Granuls.
