Abstract:Objective To Comparison of the effect of J-hook anchorage and implant anchorage in the treatment of angle class Ⅰbimaxillary protrusion deformity. Methods A total of 80 patients with class Ⅰbimaxillary protrusion deformity who admitted in our hospital from January to October 2017 were divided into group A (J hook anchor group) and group B (implant anchorage group) by random data table method, 40 cases in each group. The treatment cycle and tooth-related indexes were compared between two groups. Results The mean treatment cycle of group B was shorter than that of group A, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).After the rectification, the distance of center of resistance of maxillary molar to palatal plane (U6C-PP) and the level of nasal labial angle (Cm-Sn-UL) in group B were higher than those of group A, and the distance of upper lip to RL (UL-RL) in group B was lower than that in group A, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with J-hook anchorage, implant anchorage in the treatment of angle class Ⅰbimaxillary protrusion deformity has shorter cycle and better correction effect.
