Abstract:Objective To explore the difference of root canal strength between vertical compression of Korean BL gutta gum combined with cold gutta percha lateral compression method and warm gutta percha vertical compression method. Methods 113 patients who admitted to our hospital from May 2015 to July 2017 were selected and divided into observation group(57 cases,73 root canals)and control group(56 cases,70 root canals)according to random number table method. The control group was treated with hot gutta-percha vertical compression for root canal filling. The observation group used Korean BL hot gum vertical compression combined with cold gum lateral compression, the filling rate and clinical effect of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The clinical error of the observation group was less than that of the control group, the correct filling rate of the affected teeth in the observation group (98.63%)was significantly higher than that in the control group (84.29%),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),the success rate of the observation group(98.63%)was significantly higher than that of the control group after one year follow-up.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The root canal filling with Korean BL hot gum vertical compression combined with cold gum lateral compression can obviously reduce the operation error and increase the filling rate. The clinical effect is remarkable and suitable for clinical application.
