Clinical diagnostic value of early pregnancy serology combined with NT screening in Down′s syndrome

Abstract:Objective To analyze the diagnostic effect of serological markers combined with B-ultrasound on the thickness of fetal neck transparent layer(NT)on early pregnant patients with Down syndrome(DS).Methods A total of 3376 pregnant women who admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to March 2018 were selected as subjects for this study.Screening for DS in the mother,taking the B-ultrasound to measure the thickness of the fetal NT,and serologically detecting the levels of free human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG)and pregnancy-related protein(PAPP-A).To analyze the accuracy of the diagnosis of NT screening methods,serological detection and NT screening Methods combined with serology.Results The abnormal rate of high-risk patients obtained by the combined screening method was 7.14%,which was much higher than the abnormal rate of high-risk patients obtained by single screening.And determine the risk of maternal disease with DS through joint screening,and then diagnose the possibility of maternal adverse pregnancy outcomes.Conclusion Serological and NT screening Methods are more effective in diagnosing DS than in single screening.It can predict the incidence of maternal adverse pregnancy more scientifically and accurately,and reduce birth defects and improve population quality,which has a good clinical application value and is worth promoting.
